"I've taken the time to convert a publicly available JavaScript MD5 and SHA1 API to AS3."This allows Flash to take a string (say, "password") and encrypt that using SHA1("5baa61e4c9b93f3f0682250b6cf8331b7ee68fd8") or MD5 ("5f4dcc3b5aa765d61d8327deb882cf99"). Wonderful!! Now, if only this could be done in AS2... no?
