These very cool and very stylish sensors provide a connection between the iPhone and the real world, opening up new possibilities for design and development. The company that made these sensors (which include radioactivity, temperature, organicity —yes, it actually tests to see if food is organic!) is looking at developing allergen sensors and even medical sensors like glucometers. This means that the iPhone could one day soon become part of personal health care in a more direct way, or even part of medical care.
