" ... the performance contained a combination of live action footage (shot with an Alexa on a technocrane) and an animated sequence... The scene was all shot in 3D, with a rig that contained 10 Kinect cameras, each attached to a Macbook Pro... A smoothing algorithm was implemented but this was dropped in favour of the raw chaotic Kinect aesthetic. "
The DIY-hackers in us were particularly excited to see openFrameworks being used to power the creative vision.
